Management

 Use this sub-module to carry out Customer Account Management.

 In this sub-module you can carry out management actions such as:


To access this window, click: Front Office Management - > Operations - > Customer Accounts - > Management.

The following screen will open up:

Account Management

On the above screen:

Full Account Number - Click on the lookup icon to open the following Customer Account Lookup Dialog box:

Customer Accounts

Select the customer account to be affected by the management action by using the filters above the list:

Filters

Flag:

Exclude Cleared Loans: Tick this flag to exclude cleared loans when selecting a loan product.

NOTE: Use the Product filter to select the type of product you wish to manage, whether it is a Savings, Investment or Loan.

The Full Account Number, Account Status, Account Remarks, Product Name, Customer Name, Employer Name, Customer Type, Customer Serial Number, Identification Number, Member Number, Account Number, Personal File Number, Account Name fields will be automatically populated with data when the customer account is selected.

The Account Name and Member Number shown above will also be automatically populated. However, changes can be made to the Account Name but changing the Member Number will load details for a different customer if they exist for that part is used as a search parameter. 

 

Management (Operations).

Click on the operations drop down list to reveal more management actions. 

Select the appropriate management action to perform on the account:

This tab is used to view the account specimens.

This tab is used to view the account closure remarks & management histories.

Account Activation 

Select the operation as 'Account Activation' from the drop-down menu.

Remarks - Provide remarks regarding the activation in the remarks field with particular reference to the selected type.

Activation Fees Account Number: Select the member's account to be charged for activation fees:

Account to be charged.

Click on the update button to effect the management action. 
 

Account Closure

Select the operation as 'Account Closure' from the drop-down menu.

Remarks - Provide remarks regarding the closure in the remarks field with particular reference to the selected type. 

Click on the update button to effect the management action. 

 

Account Freezing

Select the operation as 'Account Freezing' from the drop-down menu.

Remarks - Provide remarks regarding the freezing in the remarks field. 

Click on the update button to effect the management action.

 

Account Remark 

Select the operation as 'Account Remark' from the drop-down menu. 

Type - Select the type of remark being captured - Actionable or Informational, from the drop-down menu: 

Remark

NOTE: An actionable remark will have a different effect on a customer's account as compared to an informational remark. 
A customer with an actionable remark will not be able to perform some operations for m-banking like withdrawing to their mobile but an informational remark will not have the same effect. 

Remarks - Provide remarks regarding the remark information/action in the remarks field with particular reference to the selected type. 

Click on the update button to effect the management action. 

 

Account Signing Instructions

Select the operation as 'Account Signing Instructions' from the drop-down menu.

Account Signing Instructions - Provide Account Signing Instructions regarding the account.
For example, how many signatories are required for the account, Details to be provided before transacting. etc.

Select the operation as 'Account Statement Printing' from the drop-down menu.

Select the operation as 'Partial Withdrawal' from the drop-down menu.

NOTE: For each action, the Histories Tab shows any actions performed on the account regarding the particular operation being carried out. 

For Each successful operation, except for Statement Viewing, Printing and Partial Withdrawal, you will receive a pop-up message indicating the operation was Successful:
